The Calcutta gives you the chance to ‘own’ a horse in the 2022 Melbourne Cup. Buy raffle tickets at $2 each and on the night the tickets sold will go into the raffle. 24 horses names are drawn from the tickets sold and each winning ticket holder then ‘owns’ a horse.

All horses are then auctioned. If as the ‘owner’ of a horse, you successfully win the auction bid, you only pay 50% of the final auction price. If you choose as the ‘owner’ to not bid in the auction, you receive 50% of the auction price and relinquish ownership of the horse.
