ANZAC Day 2023 - Tuesday 25th April

  • Oakleigh/Carnegie RSL Club 95-97 Drummond Street Oakleigh, VIC, 3166 Australia (map)

The Oakleigh Carnegie will conduct a Dawn Service on Tuesday 25th April commencing at 6am at the Cenotaph, Cnr Drummond St and Atherton Rd Oakleigh.

We invite the community to join us on this important commemorative day for our nation. By standing quietly and reflecting we say that we have not forgotten, and will not forget. We will remember the Australian and New Zealand men who shaped the legacy and spirit of ANZAC. - endurance, courage, mateship and sacrifice - qualities that continue to have meaning and relevance for our sense of national identity.

Following the Dawn Service, breakfast will be available at the Oakleigh Carnegie RSL club rooms - 95 Drummond St Oakleigh. Our community is most welcome to join us for breakfast and remain at the club to watch the ANZAC City march.

The club will remain open for the day with our Bistro open for lunch from 12noon - bookings can be made to Dragana on 0487 958 338 - and the ANZAC Football match (Collingwood v Essendon) available for viewing in the afternoon.
