The Blues Brothers Show -21st Century Australasian tribute adds a new prospective and gives a new twist on the movies and live shows. We are introducing new characters and new songs to bring the Blues Brothers into the 21st Century, along with all the old favourites you know and love. The show is a tribute to the late, great Jake Blues, with brother Zee taking the lead and Elwood by his side. Joining them is the feisty Ellie (soon to be Elliewood) as Jakes’s long -lost daughter and Twiggy as the backing singer with attitude.
Having two male and two female leads allows the band to expand the material to suit each individual show. The two new characters bring a new dimension providing more banter, more comedy and a wider variety of material to perform.
Overall, the show brings a high standard of musicianship and theatrical antics where anything can and does usually happen due to the performers freedom to improvise and engage with the audience. They’ve got a full tank of gas, half a packet of cigarettes, sunglasses on, and they’re on a mission from God!

In celebration of the 60th Anniversary of The Beatles album 'A Hard Day's Night', Come Together - The Music of The Beatles will be performing the album in its entirety, plus loads more Beatles classics...
A Hard Day's Night is the third studio album by The Beatles, released on 10 July 1964 by Parlophone, with side one containing songs from the soundtrack to their film of the same name. In contrast to the Beatles' first two albums, all 13 tracks on A Hard Day's Night were written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, showcasing the development of their songwriting partnership.
The album includes the song "A Hard Day's Night", with its distinctive opening chord and "Can't Buy Me Love", both transatlantic number-one singles for the band. Musically, A Hard Day's Night forgoes the rock and roll cover songs of the band's previous albums, for a predominantly pop sound. Australian Entertainment Services present PROMISES PROMISES the music of Burt Bacharach and Hal David performed by Janet Ross-Fahy in a two hour concert spectacular. They are two of the most important and influential composers of 20th century popular music. Between the 1950’s and 1980’s their collaboration earned them 6 Grammy’s and 3 Academy Awards.
Producing 73 Top 40 US hits and 52 Top 40 UK hits. Their songs have been recorded by over 1000 artists including Dionne Warwick, Cilla Black, Dusty Springfield, Tom Jones, BJ Thomas, The Carpenters and Christopher Cross just to mention a few.
Internationally acclaimed vocalist Janet Ross-Fahy whose exceptional range coupled with her flawless technique enables her to cover all styles of music. Janet has worked with many of the world's best-known recording artists and with many decades of television experience and live performances covering jazz, pop, soul, cabaret and theatre and is certainly an artist of international standard throughout Australia and overseas. Her voice is unmistakably her own with influences of her idols but still maintaining her own unique and distinctive sound along with her four and a half octave vocal range.
Janet is accompanied by her wonderful 11 piece band containing many of Australia’s top musicians such as David Hicks, Craig Newman, Tim Willis, Craig Schneider and Michael Frazer to name a few. All arrangements are by musical director Jordan Murray who is considered Australia’s premier trombone player and arranger.
